Antihero Magazine recently had the chance to chat with Matt Brandyberry, from Pennsylvania Nu Metal band, From Ashes To New. With their sophomore release “The Future” being released on 4/20, the future for the band looked slightly bleak, with lineup changes and the departure of their previous vocalist, the band had to rise from the ashes. During the conversation, Matt talked about the creative process behind the record, adding focus on music theory along with the lyrical content that the band has become known for. Matt also touched on the state of the rock/metal industry, his feelings on the new wave of Hip-Hop music, and the upcoming festival season for the band.
