October 13, 2025 – BITE THE BOXER, founded by award-winning music producer, Matt Park is back with a new single, “Venom Test”.
“Venom Test” spans the musical styles of IDM, post-rock, ambient, soundtrack and glitch to form a sound that is intriguing as it is unsettling. Dark drones, glitching textures, distorted percussion and a sense of pending doom, with just a glimmer of hope.
“Venom Test” explores the contrasting extremes of the decimated and the pure. Matt was inspired to produce this song when exploring an abandoned building. He noticed that parts of the building had been absolutely ruined by a fire but some parts were still untouched,
Regarding the creation of “Venom Test”, BITE THE BOXER founder, Matt Park said: “I was trying out some new sounds that a friend recommended to me and within about 20 minutes I had the basis for a new song. I fell in love with the texture and depth of the sounds I had created. I couldn’t just ignore it, so I went with it and I am so glad I did.”
