Avenged Sevenfold Launch ‘God Damn’ Video & Tour With Metallica

AVENGED SEVENFOLD RELEASE “GOD DAMN” VIDEO
HEADLINE SHOWS AND TOUR WITH METALLICA BEGIN MAY 5th

AVENGED SEVENFOLD have teamed with Billboard for the premiere of their new video, “GOD DAMN.” Click HERE to watch. Directed by Anders Rostad, “God Damn” was shot in a Los Angeles warehouse filled with fans. You can see the making of the video HERE.

“God Damn” is taken from the band’s latest album, THE STAGE, which hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Rock, Hard Rock and Alternative Albums charts, No. 4 on the Top 200 and debuted Top 5 on iTunes in over 35 countries.  Co-produced by A7X and Joe Barresi (Queens of the Stone Age, Tool), THE STAGE, available HERE, is the band’s 7th studio album and first for Capitol Records.

The album was surprise-dropped in October last year and garnered positive reactions around the world. Q called it ‘their boldest album yet’, while NME praised its ‘lyrical sophistication’ in their 4/5 review.  The Guardian felt it was ‘exuberant, preposterous and colourful” and Kerrang thought the band were ‘confounding expectations with such a grandiose and ambitious album’.  Classic Rock called it a ‘metal masterpiece’.
