Rock am Ring & Rock im Park are taking course into the 2017

The always busy and turbulent festival summer has only ended few weeks ago and fans can already start looking forward to the new editions of Rock am Ring and Rock im Park in 2017. The two most popular German open air events will traditionally open up European summer festival season and will present around 90 artists from all over the world on 4 different stages.

More than 20 bands have been already confirmed for the next year’s line up and will offer a great variety of the icons of festival history as well as current music heroes.

The first exclusive headliner for the twin festivals is System Of A Down. It has been long six years since this Armenian-American heavy metalers last performed at the German twin festivals and they will be back in 2017 as a part of their European run making their first live performances since 2015.

Second announced headliner will be Die Toten Hosen – the champions of Park and Ring festivals, band massively popular in Germany. This punk band from Düsseldorf will kick off their new tour cycle on the festivals.

Up next are Prophets Of Rage, the new polarizing supergroup consisting of musicians from Rage Against The Machine, Public Enemy and Cypress Hill – the band’s only German festival appearance will be at Rock am RIng and Rock im Park.

Ticket pre-sale will start on October 20th, 10:00 with a limited early booking edition starting at 185 € for a 3-day festivalpass. Tickets will be available through Eventim. Hardtickets are available exclusively at www.rock-am-ring.com and www.rock-im-park.com.
