Suffolk metal rockers to kick off the sold-out 2026 edition alongside Europe, Accept, Magnum, Battle Beast, and more!


The votes are in, the poll has closed, and the winners opening the stage for Stonedead Festival 2026 are – Aethoria!

Hailing from Suffolk, metal rockers Aethoria erupted into the scene with their debut single ‘Tamed’ this summer, and are already becoming a well-recognised name for their blend of monster riffs, soaring vocals, and signature styled stage presence. Playing venues up and down the UK and with their first three singles gaining them a huge following, Aethoria are destined for the larger stages, and we are sure to give Aethoria a huge festival welcome on what promises to be an amazing event! Stonedead is firmly placed on the rock festival map and places the rock fan experience at its core, and aims to excite both classic and new rock fans in providing a unique one-day, one-stage festival where the music is the focus, the beer and food are priced competitively, and you can camp/park 5 minutes from the level ground arena. The festival is solely organised by volunteers and created for music fans. With a free signing tent brought to you in conjunction with Planet Rock Radio, you can also bring your own alcohol into the arena – 4 cans of ready mixed spirits, beer or cider – your choice! Included with a camping ticket purchase is exclusive access to the Friday night party
