Interview: MADAME MAYHEM

Antihero Magazine journalist James Geiser spoke to Madame Mayhem in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Manhattan-born singer-songwriter, Madame Mayhem™, is a true rocker with an eclectic style in every aspect of life. With her ‘in your face’ attitude, Mayhem is definitely the right word to describe this extreme artist.

She began to take the music scene by storm when she was featured on Clear Channel’s iHeartRadio New Discovered and Uncovered Artist chart, before opening for Buckcherry’s Live Nation tour at The Sands Casino. She has already begun to create buzz in North America and internationally. Her fan base to date is over 160 thousand strong, and growing rapidly.

She has performed across the nation to packed rooms, including New York’s B.B.King Blues Club, The Roxy, The Viper Room, Bowery Ballroom, Knitting Factory, a residency at The Cutting Room, the Bluebird Café during Grammy nomination week, headlined VH1’s “THAT METAL SHOW”, performed at Shiprocked Cruise 2017, Sunfest 2017, and has recently performed on national tours with renowned and respected metal artists such as Doro and Mushroomhead. She’s set to perform at the popular Sturgis Buffle Chip Festival in South Dakota in August 2017, and will make her international debut with a European tour opening for Fozzy in Fall 2017.

Madame Mayhem has been covered in both fashion and rock music media that includes feature coverage in Aquarian Weekly, Brave Words, Fashion Style, Gannett, Guitar World, KNAC, Loudwire (the videos have been top 10 for multiple weeks), New Noise, Revolver, The Day In Rock, listed in ROCKwell UnScene Magazine’s top 5 Best Female Vocalists of 2016, and more. Internationally, the European rock press is already feeling Madame Mayhem’s presence in publications including Sweden Rock Magazine, Aardschok Magazine, Rock Hard Magazine France, and Metal Hammer Magazine Spain.

Madame Mayhem made most added on the CMJ Loud Radio Charts with over 60 stations nationally.

Madame Mayhem has just completed new music that she co-wrote with producer / co-writer Corey Lowery (Saint Asonia), Clint Lowery (Sevendust) and mastered with Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound studios in New York City. With hard rock roots and melodies that show off her vocal range, Mayhem is excited to bring these new songs to the masses.

Madame Mayhem has collaborated with notable rock talents including Billy Sheehan (Mr. Big, Winery Dogs), Ray Luzier (KoRn, KXM), Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (ex: Guns N’ Roses), Russ Parrish (“Satchel” from Steel Panther), Grammy winner Mark Hudson, Earl Slick (David Bowie, John Lennon), Rudy Sarzo (Ozzy Osbourne, Quiet Riot, Whitesnake, Dio), John Moyer (Disturbed), and more.
