We are adding two more bands to this years line-up – German Kraftklub and Spanish Gomad!&Monster!
Close to the Czech border in Saxony little city Chemnitz is the place of origin of the new addition to the Rock for People line-up. Founded in 2009 as a high-school formation, Kraftklub combines indie pop with rap and ‘Sprachgesang’ with German lyrics and is generally considered to be a mixture of rap and indie. Kraftklub refer to their hometown of Chemnitz as “Karl-Marx-Stadt” (this was the name the city was known as from 1953 to 1990) – one of their songs on Mit K is entitled Karl-Marx-Stadt – and they are known for their trademark poloshirts, varsity jackets and suspenders.
This group of Spanish producers, Djs and musicians broke into the Spanish electronic music scene hard in the 2012. Fans can look forward to the typical horror masks the band never puts down and an unbelievable wave of electrifying energy during their show. It is no wonder the band is becoming one of the most sought-after bands from Spain.
Rock for People will take place at the Festivalpark in Hradec Kralove on 4.-6. of July 2017. You can buy your tickets at the festival’s official website.
