Hello Heather, thank you for being the September Femme Fatale. We are honored to have you be a part of what we have going on here at Antihero Magazine. Please start off by telling us a little bit about yourself.
How long have you been into modeling and what got you started?
I started modeling about 4 years ago when I started my job as a Hooters girl. Hooters was so much fun! I ended up winning Hooters girl of the year in my south east region in 2013. I was also featured in the Hooters Calendar for the same year.
What advice would you have for any new models that are looking to get into this as a hobby or as a profession?
I think being confident in yourself at the beginning is key. Even if you don’t know what you’re doing, you can’t be afraid of messing up. It just takes practice!
What are some of your most memorable moments or achievements during your time in this industry?
I would say the most memorable moments have to be getting in the Hooters Calendar and being having spreads in Jezebel Magazine for Tongue and Groove ads.
Tell us about your first real love for music. That life changing moment when music came into your life and touched you.
I would actually say my first love for music came learning the flute in school. I had a natural gift with music so it was easy to fall in love with it!
What about today? What music moves you and gets you going throughout the day?
Honestly, I really enjoy many different genres of music. I love rock and roll (I group up on the Beatles and the Rolling Stones). I also can go the opposite direction with electronic music. It’s whatever mood I’m in! 🙂
Thank you for your time and support, Heather. Before we go, let us know what we can expect in the future from you!
You can count on me doing some more work with Maq Brown! He’s the best!
